Detroit Belle Isle GP Odds
DETROIT, MI (TheSpread) – The IndyCar Season hosts its first dual-race weekend as drivers will compete in the Detroit Belle Isle Grand Prix. Get a look at the odds to win these races.
These are two races, one held Saturday and one held Sunday. Both races will take place at 3:30PM ET from Belle Isle Racetrack and air on ABC. According to the latest oddsmakers, Will Power is favored in each race, as he has 11/4 odds to win. Simon Pagenaud has been given 5/1 odds while four others have 6/1 odds.
Will Power won one of the two races in last year’s event. He is currently second in the IndyCar standings with 247 points. He is coming off a runner-up finish at the Indy 500 and he has one win this year.
Pagenaud won one of the two races at the 2013 event. He is currently 10th in the IndyCar standings with 101 points. He placed 10th at the Indy 500 last weekend and he is winless on the year with two top 5s.
Of the drivers with 6/1 odds, Helio Castroneves has the best history at the track. He is a three-time winner of this event. He is third in the IndyCar standings with 161 points. He has yet to win this season, but has a pair of runner-up finishes.
