Ed Carpenter Indy 500 Odds
INDIANAPOLIS, IN (TheSpread) – Ed Carpenter will start in the first position in Sunday’s Indianapolis 500, but will he finish there?
According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, Carpenter has been given 7/1 odds to win Sunday’s race, while he has also been given 7/2 odds to finish in the top 3 of the race.
Carpenter has competed in the Indy 500 nine times in his career. He has just one top 5 and two top 10s in those nine races, with his best finish being fifth in 2008. Carpenter hasn’t done much in the IndyCar series this year, as he is way back in 23rd position in the point standings. Carpenter has competed in all four IndyCar races this year, but he has not finished in the top 10 in any race, with his best finish this year being 14th in the season opener.
