Can Magic Avoid Sweep?

The Orlando Magic have shown little heart as they get ready for Game 4 at the Boston Celtics on Monday night. Here’s the preview and the latest odds from

Bet 2010 NBA Playoff Odds

Orlando is a seven-point roaddog with a total of 187 ½-points. Tip-off is 8:30 pm ET. The ‘under’ is 3-0 inthe series and 10-1 in the last 11 meetings between the teams.

Orlando is down 3-0 andtrying to avoid a sweep. It seemed hard for things to get worse after losingthe first two games at home, but it did.

Game 3 was in BostonSaturday night and the final was 94-71. Boston led by 15 points after the firstquarter and the game was never in doubt. The C’s made all the hustle plays andshowed they wanted it more than Orlando.

The Magic looked like theywere making vacations plans at halftime.

It’s hard to point out oneoffender for Orlando. Dwight Howard had seven points and seven rebounds in 39minutes. Rashard Lewis, the $118 Million man, has been a total disgrace with 15total points in three games.

Boston is playing completebasketball, going 6-0 SU and ATS in its last six games. They haven’t lost sinceGame 3 of the Cleveland series and are clearly peaking.

The Celtics are alsoplaying like a team, not caring who scores each night. They’re down to aneight-man rotation, which might seem risky due to their age, but the starters’minutes haven’t been too bad except for Rajon Rondo.

Rondo has been the key. He’splaying like a top-3 NBA point guard, and is dominating Jameer Nelson. Thatmatchup was supposed to be a push.

No team in NBA history hasever rebounded from a 3-0 series deficit, and the Magic don’t look like thefirst. Their backers would at least be happy with a ‘cover’ of theseven-points, but 90% of bettors are going against them.

Can the Magic avoid a veryugly sweep?
