Oddsmakers see Rafael Nadal as the slight favorite in this one, as he has 5/9 odds to win. Other short odds to win include Novak Djokovic (2/1), Roger Federer (7/1), and Juan Martin Del Potro (12/1).

Nadal has been very dominant at this event, due to his ability to rise above the rest on clay courts. He has won this tournament six of the last seven years and is the defending champion. Nadal has reached the finals of his last four grand slam tournaments.

Djokovic has been on a nice run, wining four of the last five grand slam tournaments. The only title he has failed to claim is the French Open. He has never gotten past the semifinals of this event.

Federer has won 16 grand slam titles in his career, but only won the French Open one time, back in 2009. Federer last won a grand slam back at the 2010 Australian Open. He has reached the finals of the French Open five of the last six years.

Del Potro has won one grand slam title in his career, the 2009 U.S. Open. He has never made another grand slam final. He has only made the semifinals of the French Open one time in five appearances.
