Byron Nelson Picks
The 2010 HP Byron Nelson Championship will begin play on Thursday, and our team of writers and handicappers have three suggested picks for this weekend.
Dustin Johnson 20/1
Johnson is one of the few top names to have some success in this tournament, as he took ninth here a year ago. Johnson has a win already in 2010 and he has made his last four cuts. Johnson is an up-and-coming start for the PGA Tour and taking your chances on him this weekend could pay off big time.
Sean O’Hair 25/1
O’Hair hasn’t been at his best as of late, but this young golfer has a proven track record of success, so look for him to break out of his slump this weekend. In a wide open field, O’Hair is a solid play with 25/1 odds as he has competed at the highest level over recent years.
Kenny Perry 33/1
2010 hasn’t been a great year for Perry so far, as he has just one top-10 finish, but he has still missed just one cut and he consistently finishes in the top tier of his tournaments. With a field like this week’s, Perry has the chance to pick up a win and build some momentum heading into the U.S. Open. As the 25th ranked player in the world, Perry could bring a big payout on Sunday.
The 2010 HP Byron Nelson Championship will be played at TPC Four Seasons-Las Calinas in Irving, Texas starting on Thursday, May 20 and concluding Sunday, May 23.
