BALTIMORE, MD (The Spread) - When the 137th running of the Preakness Stakes kicks off this Saturday, contender Zetterholm will be considered a long shot to win.

According to odds makers Zetterholm has 22/1 odds to win this weekend’s Preakness Stakes while Bodemeister is a favorite at 7/4. I’ll Have Another is 5/2, Went The Day Well (who finished fourth at the Kentucky Derby) is 6/1 while Creative Cause is 7/1 to win the Preakness.

Despite being a long shot to win this weekend, Zetterholm has been impressive in his last three outings. He won an MSW on February 4, won an Allowance on March 4 and won the Pastprospect on April 6. He also placed second at a MSW on January 7.

Zetterholm enters the Preakness Stakes with a race record of 5-3-1-0 and has grossed $123,505 in total earnings. The 3-year-old colt is the son of Silver Train and Holy Wish and will come out of the No. 4 post position come Saturday.

This will be the 137th running of the Preakness Stakes, which was inaugurated in 1873. It’s a 1 3/16 (9.5 furlongs) race and carries a purse of $1 million. The Gates at Pimlico Race Course will open at 8:00AM ET and the Preakness post time is set for 6:05PM ET.
