Bodhisattva Preakness Stakes Odds
PIMLICO, BALTIMORE (The Spread) - One of the biggest long shots to win the Preakness Stakes this Saturday is contender Bodhisattva.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book GT Bets, Bodhisattva is a 50/1 long shot to win the 2015 Preakness Stakes, which puts him in the same company as Tale of Verve, who is also 50/1 to win. Kentucky Derby winner American Pharoah, meanwhile, is the favorite at 10/13.
Bodhisattva is coming off a win in the Federico Tesio on April 18 and also placed second in his previous start, which came in the Private Terms on March 21. He also has a victory in an allowance on December 18 of last year and finished fourth in back-to-back starts in the Frank Whiteley Jr. on January 29 and in the Miracle wood on February 16.
The biggest challenge facing Bodhisattva on Saturday is that he only has one start in a graded stakes race, which came in the Remsen on November 29. He finished fifth in that race. He'll see even better competition on Saturday and could be put away early.
