Castroneves wrecks in practice
INDIANAPOLIS, IN (TheSpread) – Helio Castroneves had a scare on Wednesday, flipping his car during Indianapolis 500 practice, but he walked away uninjured.

During Wednesday’s practice run, his car wiggled in the first turn and then his car spun and eventually took into the air and flipped over. It landed upside down before turning back over. When the car landed, Castroneves never appeared to contact the ground with his body. He was cleared and released after being examined by doctors following the crash.
According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, Castroneves is a co-favorite to win the Indianapolis 500, joining Juan Pablo Montoya at 5/1 odds. The 2015 Indy 500 takes place on Sunday, May 24 at 11AM ET.
Castroneves is a three-time winner of the Indianapolis 500. His last victory came in 2009. He is coming off a second-place finish last year, which was his first top 5 since the 2009 victory. This year, he has a pair of runner-up finishes, but is seeking his first win of the 2015 season.
