2015 Preakness Stakes Odds
PIMLICO, BALTIMORE (The Spread) – With less than a week to go, American Pharoah remains favored to win the 2015 Preakness Stakes.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the 2015 Kentucky Derby winner is currently a 5/6 favorite to win the Preakness, which takes place Saturday, May 16. Firing Line, who finished second to American Pharoah at Churchill Downs two weeks ago, has the next best odds at 5/1.
Meanwhile, Dortmund is 11/2 to win the Preakness Stakes after first setting the pace at the Kentucky Derby only to finish third behind American Pharoah and Firing Line. Carpe Diem is also 12/1 to win the Preakness while Competitive Edge is 14/1 and Materiality is 16/1.
Continuing with the odds, Danzig Moon is a 20/1 long shot to win the Preakness while Divining Rod is 22/1 and Mr. Z is 33/1. Both Bodhisattva and Stanford are 40/1, respectively, while Grand Bili is 50/1 and Tale of Verve is 66/1.
