Dialed In Updated Odds
(The Spread) – Now a mere hours away from the 2011 Kentucky Derby, oddsmakers still list Dialed In as the favorite.

That said, his odds actually continue to drop. On Monday, Dialed In was listed at +350 on the money line and throughout the week, his odds improved. He went to +300 on Tuesday and +250 on Wednesday before dropping to +275 on Friday despite fellow favorite Uncle Mo being scratched.
Now oddsmakers from online sports book SBGGLOBAL.com list Dialed in at +500, which is the highest his odds have been all week. One of the reasons that his odds may be dropping is because casual bettors are starting to hammer Twice The Appeal (Calvin Borel’s horse) and Pants On Fire’s (Rosie Napravnik’s horse) odds. Those are the two most recognizable names right now among casual Kentucky Derby bettors.
Take one look at Dialed In’s race history and you’ll understand why he’s the favorite this weekend. He won a MSW last November and then took first place in his first race of the year at the Holly Bull (Grade 3) on January 30. On March 6, he took second an Allowance and in his last outing, he won the Florida Derby (Grade 1) on April 3.
