Players 3rd Rd. Odds
Two rounds are complete in the 2010 Players Championship, and Lee Westwood finds himself in the lead.
After shooting a 7-under 65 on Friday, Westwood leads a group of three by one shot and is the favorite to win the event.
Westwood has been given 8/5 odds win according to the online sports book Sportsbook.com. Other short odds to win are Heath Slocum (8/1), Francesco Molinaro (8/1), and Luke Donald (10/1).
Westwood had just one bogey on the day while racking up six birdies and one eagle. Westwood went five under over a six-hole span at one point in his round. He sits at 12-under for the tournament.
Slocum joins Molinaro and Ryuji Imada as the three at 11-under for the tournament. Slocum shot a 6-under 66 on Friday. He didn’t have a bogey in his round and opened his day with three-straight birdies.
Molinaro shot a 7-under 65 on Friday to finish a shot behind Westwood. He also opened his round with three-straight birdies and didn’t have a bogey on his card.
Donald sits tied for sixth with three other golfers at -7 for the tournament. Donald shot a 3-under 69 on Friday. He had a steady round on Friday with just one bogey and four birdies.
Pre-event favorite Tiger Woods is currently tied for 46th at 3-under for the tournament after shooting a 1-under 71 on Friday. Woods now has 35/1 odds to win. He joins Phil Mickelson at 3-under overall and at 35/1 odds.
