Rory McIlroy on fire

Rory McIlroy picked up his first career PGA Tour win on Sunday as the youngster won the 2010 Quail Hollow Championship.

The 20-year-old McIlroy shot a 10-under 62 on Sunday to finish at -15 for the tournament and win by four strokes over Phil Mickelson.

According to oddsmakers from online sports book SBGGLOBAL, McIlroy had 50/1 odds to win the event, meaning a $100 bet on McIlroy will pay out $5,000.

McIlroy pared the first three holes of his round before getting his first birdie. He finished his front nine with three-straight birdies to shoot a 32 out and then had four birdies and an eagle on the back nine for a 30 in. The 62 came a day after he shot a 6-under 66 on Saturday.

Mickelson shot a 4-under 68 on Sunday to land in second at -11, one shot ahead of Angel Cabrera.

Brandon de Jonge finished fourth at -9 while Bo Van Pelt was fifth for the tournament at -8.
