Grand Prix of Long Beach Odds
The IndyCar Series is back in action this weekend with the running of the Grand Prix of Long Beach. Here is a look at the odds for the race.
The Grand Prix of Long Beach is a 157-mile race that is held at Long Beach street circuit in Long Beach, California. The race takes place on Sunday at 24PM ET and will air on NBCSN. According to oddsmakers at BetDSI, Ed Jones is favored to win, as he has 3/1 odds. Other short odds to win are Simon Pagenaud and Will Power, who each have 4/1 odds.
Jones is a surprise favorite, as he is competing in just his second IndyCar Series race this week. He is a former winner at this track in the Indy Lights Series, but was 10th in his first race of the year in this series.
Pagenaud is the defending champion of this race and the defending series champion after winning five times in 2016. He finished second place in the first race of the year.
Power won this race in 2012 and 2008. He finished seventh last year. Power was second in the point standings in 2016, picking up four wins. He finished 19th in the series-opener at St. Petersburg.
