Kim vs. Furyk
Two recent winners on the PGA Tour will take part in the 2010 Masters. But, who will finish better, Anthony Kim or Jim Furyk?
Both golfers are among the favorites to win the tournament, but in a head-to-head matchup, Furyk is slightly favored
According to oddsmakers from online sports book BroburySports.com, Jim Furyk has a money line of -130 against Kim, who has an even money line. Here is a look at both golfers heading into this tournament, which takes place from Augusta National in August, Georgia and begins on Thursday.
Jim Furyk -130:
Furyk has never won the Masters championship but has finished in the top 10 four times in his career, including 10th in 2009. Furyk has won one major in his career, taking the 2003
Anthony Kim even:
Kim took part in his first Masters last year and he finish 20th. He has competed in nine major championships in his career, and his best finish is seventh. He has missed just one cut in those nine major events. Kim is 14th in the current world rankings as he is coming off a win last week in the Shell Houston Open. Kim has made his last 10 cuts and finished in the top 10 in four of those 10 events.
Who will win: Furyk has more experience in major championships and played better as a whole in those tournaments. Kim has played well as of late and is a rising star in the golf world, but look for Furyk to be more consistent this week and finish ahead of the young upstart.
