Masters Prop Odds

The 2010 Masters Golf Tournament is set to tee off Thursday and bettors have more options than just picking a winner. Here is a look at prop odds for the first major of 2010.

Bet the 2010 Masters Tournament

Bettors have the option of keying in on their favorite golfer this weekend or focusing on making bets that exclude what Tiger Woods does in the tournament.

According to oddsmakers from online sports book SBGGLOBAL, Phil Mickelson has the shortest odds to be the top American finisher aside from Woods. Mickelson has a money line of +450 while Steve Stricker has a line of +670.

Mickelson has won two Masters tournaments in his career and finished in the top 10 in 10 of the last 11 years. Mickelson has shown an ability to play well in this tournament, no matter what Woods does.

Stricker has not played consistently well in the Masters. He placed sixth in 2009, which was the first time he made the weekend cut since 2001, when he finished 10th.

Another interesting prop is the nationality of the winner. The favorite is American at +110, while Europe has a line of +220, and the rest of the world is at +250. A non-American and European has won the last two Masters championships and three of the last seven. The U.S. has won six of the last nine while Europe hasn’t won a Masters title since 1999.

The 2010 Masters Tournament will take place in Augusta, Georgia at the Augusta National Golf Club. For complete prop odds on this year’s event, see below.
