According to oddsmakers from online sports book SBGGLOBAL, Els had 18/1 odds to win the event, meaning a $100 bet on Els will pay out $1,800.

The event took place from Bay Hill Course in Orlando, Florida.

Els shot just a 1-under 71 in the final round, which concluded on Monday because of thunderstorms during Sunday’s final round. Els finished the tournament at -11 overall. Els shot a 68 on Thursday and followed it up with a pair of 69’s to play a steady weekend of golf. Els has won two straight events that he has played in as he won the 2010 WGC-CA Championship two weeks ago.

Edorardo Molinari and Kevin Na finished second at -9 for the tournament while Retief Goosen and Chris Couch finished tied for fourth at -4 for the tournament.

Pre-event favorite, Phil Mickelson, who had 10/1 odds to win finished tied for 30th at +2 overall.
