Sony Womens Odds
The 2010 Sony Ericsson Open runs throughout the next two weeks and oddsmakers have released the moneyline odds for the women’s tournament.
Svetlana Kuznetsova entered the 2010 Sony Ericsson open as the No. 1 seed on the WTA Tour and has a ranking of 3. Right behind her in the No. 2 seed is Denmark’s Caroline Wozniacki and No. 3 seeded Venus Williams from the United States.
Victoria Azarenka of Belarus is in the No. 4 seed, followed by Russia’s Elena Dementieva in the No. 5 seed and Poland’s Agnieszka Radwanska is the No. 6 seed. Jelena Jankovi of Serbia is No. 7, Li Na of China is No. 8, Samantha Stosur of Australia is No. 9 and Flavia Pennetta of Italy is No. 10.
Azarenka won the Women’s Singles tournament in last year’s Sony Ericsson. Past Sony Ericsson champions include Serena Williams (2008 and 2007) of the United States, Kuznetsova (2006) and Kim Clijsters of Belgium (2005). When Kuznetsova and Clijsters won in their respective years, the tournament was actually called the NASDAQ-100 Open.
