CA Championship Picks
The 2010 World Golf Championships-CA Championship takes place from Doral-Blue Monster Course starting Thursday. Here are some suggested plays for this weekend.
Steve Stricker 14/1
Stricker has done well in this event over the last two years, finishing 12th in 2009 and sixth in 2008. In his last five tour events, Stricker has found himself in the top 10 and being one of the top ranked golfers in the world, look for him to be in contention come Sunday.
Camilo Villegas 18/1
Villegas is the hottest golfer in the world right now, having finishing in the top 10 in his last four events, including a win in last week’s Honda Classic. Villegas finishing fifth in this tournament last year and has finished in the top 25 in his last 10 events. With 18/1 odds, Villegas looks to be a good play this weekend.
Zach Johnson 40/1
The former Masters champion has also been playing well for quite some time. Johnson has made the cut in his last 15 events and during that stretch he has finished in the top 25 13 times and in the top 10 six times. Johnson finished ninth in this event in 2008 and with 40/1 odds, a steady player like Johnson looks to be a good play.
