Men's Super G Odds
Bodie Miller looks to add to his career medal count in the Men’s Super G when he competes against the best in the nation at the 2010 Winter Olympics on Friday.
According to vancouver2010.com, Super-G, for super giant slalom, combines the speed of downhill with the more precise turns of giant slalom. The course is shorter than downhill but longer than the giant slalom course. Each skier makes one run down a single course. The fastest time determines the winner.
The American, Miller, is the pre-event favorite to win the gold.
Miller has odds of 2/1 to win the gold medal in this event according to online sports book SPORTSBETTING.com. Other short odds to win are Michael Walchhofer (4/1), Aksel Lund Svindal (5/1), Didier Cuche (5/1), and Carlo Janka (5/1).
Miller already won bronze in the downhill and he is the 2005 world champion for the Super G.
