Women's Snowboarding Cross Odds


SOCHI, Russia (The Spread) – Women’s Cross in snowboarding at the 2014 Olympics has three equal favorites to win the gold. Here is a closer look at the odds.

According to oddsmakers from Bovada.lv, Lindsey Jacobellis, Dominique Maltais and Eva Samkova each have 9/4 odds to win this event.

Jacobellis competes for the United States. She won a silver medal in this event at the 2006 Olympics but didn’t medal in 2010. She is the 2011, 2007 and 2005 world champ in the event and also won the 2014 X Games gold in cross.

Maltais competes for Canada. She won bronze at the 2006 Olmypics but didn’t medal in 2010. She finished second at the 2013 world championship in cross.

Samkova competes for the Czech Republic. This will be her first Olympic games. She was the 2010, 2011 and 2013 world junior champion in this event.
