Women's 3,000M Odds
Endurance and consistency will be the key to win the gold medal in the Women’s 3,000 Meter Speed Skating Event at the 2010 Winter Olympics.
In this event, the skating takes place on a 400 meter oval ice rink. Timed to one-hundredth of a second, athletes compete in by skating counter-clockwise around the oval and changing lanes once per lap, which equals out the distance.
A five-time skating world champion, Martina Sablikova, is favored to win the gold in this event.
Sablikova has odds of 5/6 to win the gold medal according to online sports book Brobury Sports. Other short odds to win are Stephanie Beckert (5/1), Kristina Groves (13/2), and Cindy Klassen (8/1).
