SOCHI, Russia (The Spread) – When it comes to the Men’s 5000 meter relay in short track speed skating at the 2014 Olympics, North America looks to be likely to win gold.

According to oddsmakers from Bovada.lv, both the United States and Canada are favored to win gold, as each has 7/4 odds while South Korea has 9/2 odds.
Canada has been dominant in this event in recent years, winning the 2010 Olympic gold medal and then winning the world title in 2012 and 2013.
The United States finished with the bronze in this event in 2010 and has not medaled in recent years at the world championships.
South Korea won the silver medal at the 2010 Olympics. It also went on to place third at the 2012 world championship, but didn’t medal at the 2013 event.
