Stricker moves to 2nd

Steve Stricker became the No. 2 golfer in the world and the leader in the Fed Ex Cup Standings thanks to his win in the Northern Trust Open on Sunday.

According to oddsmakers from online sports book, Stricker had 11/1 odds to win the event, meaning at $100 bet on Stricker will pay out $1,100.

Stricker shot a 16-under 268 to win the title by two strokes over Luke Donald. Stricker shot just a 1-under 70 on Sunday to win his fourth tour event since last May.

Donald shot a 66 on Sunday and had a great front nine, shooting a 3-under 32 to start the day, but an early bogey on the back nine kept him from making a serious run.

Pre-event favorite, Phil Mickelson, shot a 2-under 282 for the tournament to finish tied for 45th.
