2011 Australian Open Updated Odds
(The Spread) - The 2011 Australian Open is winding down, but there are still a couple of days of great tennis action. Check out the latest odds for both the men and women tournaments.
According to oddsmakers at online sports book Sportsbook.com, Roger Federer is the favorite to win the 2011 Australian Open men’s tournament at –150 on the money line. His odds are followed by Andy Murray (+300) and Novak Djokovic (+400).
On the women’s side, Kim Clijsters is a slight favorite at +120 on the money line. But Na Li (+200), Caroline Wozniacki (+350) and Vera Zvonareva (+350) have comparable odds behind Clijsters.
In terms of matchup odds, Li is –145 to beat Wozniacki (+125), while Clijsters is –160 to beat Zvonareva (+140). Federer is –230 to beat Djokovic, while Murray is a whopping –380 to beat David Ferrer (+290).
Wozniacki is –105 to win the first set against Li, who is –135. Those same prop odds are also being offered on the second set winner.
In the Clijsters-Zvonareva matchup, Clijsters is –150 on the money line to win the first set, while Zvonareva is +110. Those same prop odds can be found on the second set winner as well.
On the men’s side, Djokovic is +130 to beat Federer (-180) on the first and second sets, while David Ferrer is +175 on the money line to beat Murray (-250) on the first and second sets of their matchup.
