Haas birdied the final two holes of his final round on Monday to finish one stroke ahead of Matt Kuchar, Tim Clark, and Bubba Watson.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book Sportsbook.com, Haas entered the tournament with 80/1 odds to win, meaning a $100 bet on Matteson will pay out $8,000.
Haas played well all weekend, shooting no worse than a 68, which he carded in the opening round. The tournament was five rounds that spanned over four courses in six days, as one round was postponed for bad weather.
