Oscars Best Supporting Actor Odds
LAS VEGAS, NV (The Spread) - The 2015 Academy Awards will take place on February 22 at 7:00PM ET and here's a look at the odds to win Best Supporting Actor.
JK Simmons, Edward Norton, Mark Ruffalo, Ethan Hawke and Robert Duvall are all up for an Oscar for Best Supporting Actor this year. According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, Simmons is the massive odds favorite at 1/18 to take home the Oscar for his work in "Whiplash."
Norton has the next-best odds to win Best Supporting Actor in his role alongside Michael Keaton in "Birdman," but he's still a 9/1 long shot compared to Simmons and his 1/18 odds. Ruffalo, meanwhile, is 12/1 to win Best Supporting Actor for his part in "Foxcatcher," which starred Steve Carrell.
The two biggest long shots to win the Oscar for Best Supporting Actor are Hawke, who is 20/1 for his role in "Boyhood", and Duvall, who is 33/1 after he was one of the stars of "The Judge."
