According to oddsmakers from Bovada.lv, Aksel Lund Svindal is the clear favorite to win gold, as he has 11/10 odds. The next shortest odds are Kjetil Jansrud and Patrick Kueng, who each have 14/1 odds.

Svindal competes for Norway and he won the gold medal in Super G at the 2010 Olympics. However, he has not won a world championship in the event since, taking bronze at the 2013 championships.

Jansrud competes for Norway as well. He took home a silver medal at the last Olympics, but not in Super G. He did place fourth in the Super G in the 2012 World Cup and eighth in 2013.

Kueng competes for Switzerland. He did pick up a recent win in Super G as part of the 2014 World Cup series, but he has yet to medal in this event in the Olympics or world championships.
