Line continues to move for title game
ARLINGTON, TX (The Spread) – Both the spread and the total have been on the move for tonight’s national championship game between Oregon and Ohio State, set to kick off at 8:30PM ET.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Ducks are back up to 6-point favorites after the number had dropped to 5.5 at some sports books on Sunday. Oregon opened as 7-point favorites in Las Vegas but the line was bet down within the first 24 hours and has been dropping ever since.
As for the total, it opened at 72.5 and was bet up to 74 and even reached as high as 75 before dropping back down to 74 on Sunday. Now the over/under looks to have settled in at 73.5 at most online and Vegas sports books, although if you shop around you can find the total as high as 74.5.
The Buckeyes are 9-2-1 against the spread in their last 12 games versus Pac-12 opponents while the Ducks are an impressive 5-0 against the number in their last five neutral site games. The over is also 4-0 in the Buckeyes’ last four non-conference games and 5-1-1 in the Ducks’ last seven games against teams with a winning record.
