DAL-GB spread drops again
GREEN BAY, WI (The Spread) - If you like the Cowboys as an underdog in today's Divisional round playoff matchup with the Packers, you better attack the spread now.
The Packers opened as 6.5-point favorites at most online and Vegas sports books but the line has steadily dropped throughout the week. Earlier in the week oddsmakers dropped the line to 6 before eventually moving the number down to 5.5 at most books. Now, according to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the number is all the way down to 5 with kickoff set for 1:05PM ET.
Granted, Vegas oddsmakers at MGM Mirage, Wynn and Westgate Superbook have left the Cowboys as a 5.5-point road underdog. But with Aaron Rodgers currently battling a calf injury and the public pretty much split on this game, it's interesting to see that the line is moving at all.
The Packers certainly have the offensive firepower to cover a 5 or 5.5-point spread but the Cowboys don't fall short in that category either. With MVP candidates DeMarco Murray and Tony Romo, as well as a legit No. 1 receiver in Dez Bryant and a solid offensive line, Dallas at least has the weapons to keep pace with Green Bay today.
