NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -Nashville center Scott Nichol and defenseman Alex Henry have agreed to contract terms with the Predators.
Nichol signed a two-year deal that will pay him $750,000 each season, general manager David Poile said Saturday. Henry signed a one-year contract that will pay him $100,000 at the minor-league level and $475,000 at the NHL level.
Nicol played in 59 games for the Predators last season, posting 13 points (seven goals, six assists) and 79 penalty minutes. In 301 career NHL games with Nashville, Chicago, Calgary and Buffalo, Nichol has posted 64 points (30 goals, 34 assists) and 573 penalty minutes.
Henry played in 64 games with Milwaukee of the American Hockey League last season, getting one goal, six assists and 66 penalty minutes.
Before joining the Predators last season, Henry played two seasons with Minnesota. Henry has 11 points and 259 penalty minutes in 175 career NHL games with Minnesota, Edmonton and Washington.
