CHICAGO (AP) – Defenseman Brent Seabrook and goalie Corey Crawford have been ruled out for the Chicago Blackhawks’ game against the Vancouver Canucks.
Seabrook is out with a lower-body injury after he was hurt in Sunday’s 3-2 victory over the Los Angeles Kings. Crawford has been sidelined with an upper-body injury since he had 31 saves in a 3-2 shootout loss to Anaheim last Tuesday.
Ray Emery got the start in goal Tuesday night as the Blackhawks tried to match the NHL record for season-opening point streak at 16 games. They began the day with a 12-0-3 record.
