BUFFALO, N.Y. (AP) -Florida Panthers player Richard Zednik has been discharged from Buffalo General Hospital and returned to Florida.
Zednik was released Friday, hospital officials said. It was less than a week after he was slashed in the throat by a teammate’s skate and lost five pints of blood.
In a statement released Friday, the 32-year-old forward said he had received support and encouragement from people all over the world.
