BOSTON (AP) -The Boston Bruins recalled forward Vladimir Sobotka from their AHL affiliate in Providence on Friday and sent defenseman Matt Lashoff to the AHL team.
Sobotka had two assists in 14 games for Boston this season before being assigned to Providence on Dec. 30. The team’s fifth-round pick in the 2005 draft has 10 goals and 10 assists in 18 games with Providence.
Lashoff, the team’s first selection in the 2005 draft, has one goal and one assist in nine games with the Bruins. He has four goals and 16 assists in 28 games with Providence.
The Bruins, who have scored two goals in their last two games, both losses, visit Philadelphia on Saturday.
