Brayden Schenn will be out for a while with an upper-body injury suffered on Thursday. That’s a big blow for the Blues as Schenn had three goals and six points in nine games before the injury, centering the top line with David Perron and Jordan Kyrou. He was replaced by Ryan O’Reilly who returned to the lineup but with Vladimir Tarasenko and Perron as his wingers. Reserve Schenn for now.

Connor Hellebuyck (illness) was on the ice for Monday’s practice. Coach Paul Maurice isn’t sure yet if Hellebuyck will return to the crease on Tuesday versus St. Louis, but said it will be a consideration depending on how the netminder feels tomorrow morning. Hellebuyck has missed the last three games, including the past two due to an illness. The first match he missed last Tuesday was to welcome his new baby boy into the world.
