Connor McDavid scored his 10th goal of the season on the power play to cut it to 2-1 in the first period, while Leon Draisaitl scored his eighth of the season in the second to make it 3-2 at that point. Ryan Nugent-Hopkins notched an assist on each goal. Cam Talbot allowed four goals on 23 shots to take the loss.

Lightning win in OT

Tampa Bay secured a 4-3 overtime victory over host Ottawa on Sunday to improve to 10-3-1 this season. Yanni Gourde, who just inked a new six-year deal, scored the game-winner 14 seconds into overtime. Cedric Paquette, Mathieu Joseph and Brayden Point also scored in the win. Ryan McDonagh dished out three assists including on the game-winner. Louis Domingue saved 22 of 25 shots to earn the win.

NHL Betting Trends

The over is 5-0 in the last five Oilers games on Tuesdays. Edmonton is 0-6 in its last six games at Tampa Bay.

Tampa Bay

The home team is 13-3 in the last 16 meetings. The under is 5-1-1 in the last seven meetings in Tampa Bay.

Edmonton hasn't had much success at all in Tampa Bay and have one less day to prepare for this one. Tampa Bay is the more talented team and at home. This is a good opportunity to take the puckline bet as it carries plenty of value here in what could be a one-sided affair.
