Thursday's NHL Prediction
The Washington Capitals hit the road on Thursday night in the NHL when they take on the Boston Bruins.
The Capitals are 4-2-0 on the season with 18 goals scored and have given up 14. They are currently tied with Tampa Bay for the lead in the Southeast Division.
Boston is 3-1-1 on the season yet the Bruins are 0-1-0 on the road. Boston has scored 12 goals on the season but allowed just seven. They are three points behind Toronto in the Northeast Division.
Here is my pick for tonight’s contest:
Washington Capitals vs. Boston Bruins, 7PM ET
Washington has won six of the last nine meetings in this series and three of the last four in Boston.
The Capitals are also 9-3 in their last 12 games against a team with a winning record while Boson is just 10-27-2 in their last 39 in the second game of a home-and-home situation.
The Bruins have a strong defensive unit, but Washington is just too tough and should be able to score some goals to pick up a win.
