Bruins vs. Flames Prediction
The Boston Bruins have won four of their first five games this season as they travel to take on the Calgary Flames tonight. Can Boston record another victory tonight in a game listed as a pick'em on the moneyline by oddsmakers?

Bruins blow out Red Wings
Boston built a 4-0 lead through two periods en route to an impressive 8-2 victory Saturday at home versus the lowly Red Wings. Jake DeBrusk had two goals in the triumph, while David Pastrnak did him one better with a hat trick. Anders Bjork recorded a goal and an assist. Sean Kuraly and Charlie McAvoy each scored a goal. Patrice Bergeron dished out three assists, while David Krejci along with Brad Marchand and Brandon Carlo all registered two assists. Tuukka Rask made 32 saves on 34 shots to pick up the win.
Flames pick up OT win
Calgary improved to 3-2-0 on the season with a 3-2 overtime victory at Colorado. Johnny Gaudreau scored the game-winner with his second goal of the season 46 seconds into overtime. Sean Monahan and T.J. Brodie assisted on the goal. Sam Bennett pulled the Flames to within 2-1 in the second period, while Calgary tied it at 2-2 with 1:54 remaining in the third on a score by Elias Lindholm. Mikael Backlund and Michael Stone dished out assists. David Rittich made 24 saves on 26 shots to pick up the win.
NHL Betting Trends
The Bruins have won four games in a row. The over is 8-1-3 in the last 12 Boston games following a win.
The Flames are 3-13 in their last 16 Wednesday games. Calgary is 1-4 in the last five meetings.
Boston looks strong in the early going, but faces a tough test here on the road far away from home. Calgary has a strong home atmosphere, starting goalie Mike Smith will be in goal and the Flames are looking like a formidable squad so far this season. I'm going to go with the Flames to end the four-game win streak of the Bruins.
