Bruins vs. Golden Knights Pick
Boston comes in with a 2-2-0 record following a 6-2 win at the Coyotes on Saturday. Las Vegas is 3-1-0 after its 6-3 home loss to Detroit Friday night. This is the first-ever meeting between the Bruins and Golden Knights.
On Saturday, Boston received goals from six players - Anders Bjork, Zdeno Chara, Jake DeBrusk, Brad Marchand, David Pastrnak and Tim Schaller - en route to the victory. Chara also contributed two assists, while DeBrusk along with Marchand and Pastrnak had one assists apiece. Danton Heinen added two assists. Anton Khudobin made 29 saves in goal.
Las Vegas' goals were scored by Jonathan Marchessault, Erik Haula and James Neal. Marc-Andre Fleury allowed six goals on 27 shots.
Boston is 1-1-0 on the road this season and Las Vegas is 1-1-0 at home.
The Golden Knights surprised everyone with their 3-0-0 start, but the fact is this is still an expansion team full of marginal players outside of the couple talented veterans such as Neal and Fleury. Boston has been up-and-down out of the gate, but look for it to continue taking advantage of inferior competion such as it did against Arizona yesterday.
