Kings sign Nolan, are 12/1 to win Cup
LOS ANGELES (AP) – The Los Angeles Kings agreed to terms on a new two-year contract with forward Jordan Nolan on Sunday.
He had two goals, four assists and 46 penalty minutes in 44 games with the team last season. He played in seven postseason games, with no points and four penalty minutes.
The 24-year-old forward has played 70 career NHL games with the Kings, who selected him in the seventh round of the 2009 entry draft.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the Kings are 12/1 to win the 2014 Stanley Cup, which puts them only behind the Blackhawks, Penguins and Bruins in terms of NHL title odds. The Blackhawks are now favored at 6/1, while the Pens are 13/2 and the Bruins are 10/1.
