Coach Peter DeBoer has decided who will start in goal on Thursday in Game 6 of the Stanley Cup Semifinals, but he declined to reveal his choice. DeBoer expressed confidence in both Robin Lehner and Marc-Andre Fleury on Wednesday. Vegas is down 3-2 in their best-of-seven series against Montreal and face elimination from the playoffs on Thursday. Fleury has lost his last three starts, while Lehner played well in last Sunday’s 2-1 overtime win over the Canadiens in Game 4. It doesn’t matter who starts in goal for the Golden Knights if the team continues to struggle to score goals.
Montreal Canadiens DFS Spin
Carey Price saved 26 of 27 shots in a 4-1 win against Vegas on Tuesday. Once again, Price came up big for Montreal. He didn’t allow a goal through the first 40 minutes, allowing Montreal to build a 3-0 lead they could take into the third frame. Price has now allowed just seven goals over his last four contests. Thanks in part to his efforts, Montreal has a 3-2 series lead going into Game 6 on Thursday.
