Stanely Cup Final Game 6 Odds
CHICAGO, IL (TheSpread) – The Chicago Blackhawks look to claim the Stanley Cup tonight when they host the Tampa Bay Lightning in Game 6 of the series at 8PM ET.
Chicago is 63-34-7 on the season and 32-14-5 at home while Tampa Bay is 64-35-8 overall and 26-20-7 on the road. Chicago took a 3-2 lead in the series following a 2-1 win in Tampa in Game 5. All five games of this series have been decided by one goal, with the road team winning three of the five games. These two have hit the under in six of their seven meetings this season.
According to oddsmakers at the online sports book Bovada.lv, Chicago is favored to win tonight’s contest, as the Blackhawks have been given odds of -160 to win, while the Lightning have a money line of +145 to prevail. The over/under total for the game has been set at 5 goals.
Game 5 was another intense battle between these two. The Blackhawks escaped with a 2-1 win despite being outshot 32-29 and outhit 37-15. The first Chicago goal came in the first period on a Ben Bishop mistake that gave Patrick Sharp an empty net to score. Tampa tied the game in the second on a Valtteri Filppula goal, but the Hawks got the game-winner in the third period when Antoine Vermette scored. Corey Crawford made 31 saves for Chicago in the victory.
