View Current NHL Odds

The Bruins evened the series at 2-2 with a 4-0 win at home in Game 4. The Bruins have now outscored Vancouver 12-1 over the two games in Boston. Vancouver had more shots, but Tim Thomas made 38 saves in net for the Bruins.

According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bodog Vancouver is still the favorite to win the series with odds of -160 and is also a -160 favorite to win Game 5 of the series.

Stepping up for the injured Nathan Horton, Rich Peverly had two goals in Game 4 to lead Boston. For Game 5, Peverly has over/under odds of 3.5 total shots on goal + points. Peverly has recorded a point in his last two games but still had just 11 points for the playoffs with 37 shots. Peverly is getting the increased time for Horton, so his opportunity for more points and shots is there.

For Vancouver, Daniel Sedin has over/under odds of 4 shots on goal for Friday’s game. Sedin struggled in Boston, recording just two shots in each of the last two games. Prior to that, Sedin had 12 shots over the first two games. For the playoffs, Sedin is averaging exactly four shots per game.
