Bruins coach Bruce Cassidy isn’t ready to commit to Tuukka Rask (undisclosed) being available on Wednesday. Rask was pulled from Game 5 because he wasn’t feeling 100%, according to Cassidy. During his postgame report, Cassidy suggested that Rask would still be fine to play in Game 6, but Tuesday morning he sounded less certain. “He skated today… we’ll see how he feels tomorrow,” Cassidy said.
New York Islanders DFS Spin
Semyon Varlamov allowed four goals on 44 shots in Monday’s 5-4 Game 5 win over the Boston Bruins. It was a solid night for Varlamov as the Russian goaltender did just enough to keep the Islanders in front in this one and get them over the finish line. Varlamov has now won three of his last four games and might have secured himself as the starter for the remainder of the postseason. The Islanders will have a chance to eliminate the Bruins on Wednesday night in Game 6.
