Juuse Saros stopped 58 shots in a 4-3 double overtime win over Carolina on Sunday in Game 4 of the first round. Saros set a new franchise record for saves in a playoff game and he became the ninth goaltender on record to have at least 58 stops in a postseason game in which he played less than 100 minutes. He was coming off a double overtime win in Game 3 as well when he blocked 52 shots. Saros has played a big role in helping the Predators even up their first round series against the Hurricanes. Game 5 will be played on Tuesday with both teams owning two wins in the best of seven.
Carolina Hurricanes DFS Spin
Alex Nedeljkovic stopped 39 shots in Sunday’s 4-3 double overtime loss to Nashville in Game 4 of the first round. Nedeljkovic was excellent in the contest and made some spectacular saves to give his team a chance to win, but he ended up losing a second straight in double overtime to the Predators. The best-of-seven series is tied at 2-2 heading back to Carolina for Game 5 on Tuesday.
