Canucks vs. Sharks Gm 5 Props
(TheSpread) – The San Jose Sharks look to keep their season alive on Tuesday against the Vancouver Canucks in the 2011 NHL Western Conference Finals. Here is a look at the prop odds for Game 5.
Vancouver took a commanding 3-1 series lead on San Jose with a 4-2 win in Game 4 at San Jose. The Canucks took a 4-0 lead before the Sharks scrapped together a pair of goals late.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bodog.com Vancouver is favored to win Game 5 with odds of -172 while San Jose has odds of +158. Series odds are currently unavailable, but if they are released, Vancouver will be a heavy favorite.
Vancouver wing Daniel Sedin had another three assists in Game 4 for the Canucks. For Game 5, he has been given odd of -145 to score a point and odds of +115 to not have a goal or an assist. Sedin has recorded a point in two of the four games in this series and in nine of his 17 playoff games. In four regular season meetings with the Sharks, Sedin scored a point in every contest.
Ryan Clowe was one of the two players to score a goal for San Jose in Game 4. For Tuesday, he has been given over/under odds of 3 for total points + shots on goal. In this series Clowe has had a total of three shots and points combined in two of the four games. He has a combined 50 points and shots over 16 playoff games, which is an average of just over 3 per game.
