The Lightning took a 2-1 series lead on Wednesday night with a 6-5 OT win over the Rangers. Tampa has posted six goals in their last three wins over the Rangers. These two have hit the over in five of their last six meetings.
According to online sports book Bovada.lv, Tampa Bay is the slight favorite at home, as the Lightning are getting odds of -125 to win Game 4, while the Rangers are getting a money line of +115 to win. The over/under total for the game has been set at 5 goals.
Game 3 was an absolute shootout in Tampa, with the two scoring a combined 11 goals. Both goalies struggled, as Tampa goalie Ben Bishop had 23 saves while allowing five goals and Henrik Lundqvist had 34 saves while allowing six goals. Lundqvist has allowed 12 goals to Tampa in the last two games. Ondrej Palat led Tampa in the win with two goals and one assist while Jesper Fast had two goals for New York in the loss.
