Washington Capitals DFS Spin
Alex Ovechkin registered an assist in a 4-3 overtime loss to Boston in Game 2 on Monday. Ovechkin also had four shots, but he finished with a minus-two rating in 17:07 minutes of ice time. He also registered an assist in Game 1 of the first round series.
Boston Bruins DFS Spin
Taylor Hall found the back of the net during Monday’s 4-3 OT win over the Washington Capitals. With the Bruins down 3-2 late in the third frame, Hall came into the Capitals end, played the puck to the front of the net and he was able to bury a loose puck into the Washington cage. The Caps bench looked at whether or not they should challenge the play, but it was too tight to risk getting a penalty for being wrong. Hall has been a great trade-deadline acquisition for the Bruins. This was the 29-year-old’s first point of the series. This best-of-seven series is tied, 1-1, with Game 3 going on Wednesday night in Boston.
