The Canucks won Game 1 3-2 over the Sharks to take a 1-0 lead in the series. Vancouver posted two goals in the third period after trailing 2-1. Vancouver had 38 shots on goal to just 29 for San Jose and the Canucks had a 4-1 power play edge.
