LAS VEGAS, NV (TheSpread) – The NHL Western Conference Final features two evenly-matched teams. Who has the edge when the Anaheim Ducks meet the Chicago Blackhawks?
Anaheim is 59-24-8 overall, 31-12-3 at home and 28-12-5 on the road. Chicago is 56-30-6 overall, 29-12-5 at home and 27-18-1 on the road. The Blackhawks beat the Nashville Predators in six games before sweeping the Minnesota Wild in the conference semifinals. Anaheim swept the Winnipeg Jets before beating the Calgary Flames in five games. Anaheim will have the home-ice advantage for this series.
According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, the Blackhawks are the slight favorite in this series, as they are getting odds of -115 to win, while the Ducks are getting odds of -105 to win. Game 1 of this series is set for Sunday at 3PM ET.
These two teams met just three times during this past season and the Blackhawks won two of the three games, while the road team came out on top in all three games. These two have hit the under in all three meetings as well. Chicago had an 8-3 goal advantage over the three games. Dating back further, Anaheim has won six of its last 10 against Chicago while the two have hit the under in eight of their last 10 encounters.
