(The Spread) – Two teams in the San Jose Sharks and the Boston Bruins look to sweep their respective series Friday night in the NHL Playoffs, while the Detroit Red Wings and the Philadelphia Flyers attempt to stay alive.

The night starts at 7:05PM EST when the Red Wings host the Sharks at Joe Louis Arena. San Jose won Game 3 in Detroit by a final of 4-3 in overtime. Oddsmakers from online sports book SBGGLOBAL.com have made the Red Wings -135 favorites for tonight’s game and the over-under is set at 5.5 goals.
San Jose jumped ahead 3-0 in the series Wednesday when Devin Setoguchi scored halfway through the first overtime session to end it. San Jose goaltender Antti Niemi stopped 38 of 41 shots in the game to help the Sharks to the victory.
Ryane Clowe and Joe Thornton lead the Sharks with nine points apiece during the postseason. Pavel Datsyuk has paced the Red Wings with three goals and six assists.

Secondly on the schedule, the Bruins entertain the Flyers at 8:05PM EST. Boston is a -170 favorite and the over-under is 5.5. While the Bruins are ahead in the series 3-0, Philadelphia can take solace in the fact that Boston led last year’s series by the identical margin before blowing it.
